PUBLIC NOTICE: DRAFT INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IDP) 2024/2025, SECTORAL PLANS, THE MTREF BUDGET 2024/2025 – 2026/27 AND BUDGET RELATED POLICIES

Municipal Systems Act, Section 34 requires that: A municipal council —

(a) must review its integrated development plan —

(i) annually in accordance with an assessment of its performance measurements in terms of section 4 i; and

(ii) to the extent that changing circumstances so demand; and

(b) may amend its integrated development plan in accordance with a prescribed process.

Notice is hereby given to Communities, Stakeholders and interested parties that the Draft Integrated Development Plan 2024/2025, Sectoral Plans, Draft MTREF Budget 2024/2025 – 2026/27 and Draft Budget Related Policies for the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality were noted by the Council on Thursday, March 28, 2024 and documents are available at www.mangaung.co.za for comments or inputs to influence the above mention drafts documents and the drafts documents will be available from Friday, 05 April 2024 at the below places:

  • Bloemfontein: Bainsvlei Library (Langenhoven Park), Fichardt Park Library, BP Leinaeng Library (Phahameng) Mangaung Library (Rockland), Trevor Barlow Library (Heidedal) and Lourierpark Library.
  • Bloemfontein South: Leslie Monnanyane Building
  • Bloemfontein North: Information cabin, Bram Fischer Building
  • Botshabelo: Botshabelo Library
  • Thaba Nchu: Selosesha Library
  • Soutpan: Municipal offices
  • Dewetsdorp: Municipal offices
  • Wepener: Municipal offices
  • Van Standenrus: Municipal offices

The closing date for the above is Monday, 22 April 2024.

The community and all stakeholders are encouraged to submit all written comments and inputs regarding the draft’s documents via email to the following persons:

Additionally, submissions may still be made at the nearest municipal offices, to the attention of IDP office, Bram Fischer Building, Second Floor, Room 212b and 213b.
